Areas of Focus: Madeleine’s areas of focus include disability, neurodivergence, trauma,

emotional regulation, anxiety, and depression. She has worked in a range of educational and community spaces supporting children and youth with diverse identities, experiences, and abilities. Madeleine is trained in person-centred therapy, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Approach to Therapy: Madeleine’s approach to therapy is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration. She works to co-create accepting, affirming spaces where every part of the client is welcomed and valued. She integrates strengths-based and person-centred approaches, honouring the client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals every step of the way.

Educational Background and Training: Honours Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology and Disability Studies from Carleton University, Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa.

Madeleine celebrates each client’s unique ways of being, thinking, and feeling. She makes intentional space for play, fun, and creative expression in the therapy room based on client needs and interests.
