Social Skills for ASD
This therapeutic group/camp is designed specifically for children with autism who are motivated to build friendships and are ready to participate in interactive social activities. To benefit from this program, children should have a foundational ability to engage in back-and-forth communication and be able to participate in structured play, such as simple board games and group activities.
In a structured and supportive environment, children will develop essential social skills through individualized instruction and small group experiences. Key areas of focus include reading facial expressions, starting and maintaining conversations, taking turns, and interpreting body language. The camp incorporates visual supports, role-playing, and sensory-friendly activities to ensure that learning is both comfortable and engaging.
Our goal is to boost confidence, strengthen communication skills, and foster positive peer relationships, helping children navigate social situations with greater ease and understanding. Using an evidence-based curriculum, this group will be facilitated by expert instructor therapists with a small group ratio of 4 children to 1 facilitator.
The program runs 3 hours per day at $200/day, with an option to extend to 6 hours for $400/day.
