Nurturing Minds: Building Secure Beginnings
Did you know that between ages 0-3, infants experience the most rapid brain development of their whole lives? By age 3, the brain has developed to 80% of its full size. Nurturing Minds is a 6-week therapeutic infant mental health group for those who are currently pregnant or postpartum who want to learn more about how to support infants during this crucial time of development. One of our therapists at Child In Mind, Bianca, will be running the group this Spring. If you have any questions, would like more information or would like to sign up, please scan the QR code, click here or email Bianca at bianca@childinmind.com. This will be a small group so spots are limited!
Topics Include:
Infant brain development through gentle, accessible neuroscience
Nurturing secure attachment through responsive caregiving
Supporting emotional regulation for baby and parent
Infant sleep from a holistic, relationship-centered perspective
Each session will include:
Nourishing snacks for pregnant and postpartum participants (because we know how hard it can be to eat nourishing food when you have a baby!)
A warm, supportive space for shared experiences
A welcoming, baby-friendly environment
