Julia Davidson
Julia is completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University. Her clinical training has focused on supporting children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, difficulties with emotion regulation, and interpersonal concerns. Julia takes a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy. She offers a safe and supportive space where clients can share their experiences and work together to explore and address the challenges that bring them to therapy. She draws on evidence-based treatment approaches and incorporates experiential learning to address a range of emotional challenges.
In addition to her clinical work, Julia’s research explores the role of interpersonal emotion regulation in predicting psychological and social outcomes among adolescents and emerging adults. Her work aims to understand how interpersonal emotion regulation processes can help protect against mental health challenges, including depression and loneliness, during vulnerable developmental periods.
Julia will be offering short-term intervention and is available until December 2025
