Cameron Hines

Cameron is a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University, currently completing his clinical practicum at Child in Mind under the supervision of Dr. Adrienne Matheson. He primarily works with both adolescents and young adults, helping individuals navigate a range of psychological challenges. Cameron has a particular focus on supporting teenagers, including running a social skills group for those on the Autism spectrum.

In addition to his clinical work, Cameron’s research explores peer defense strategies against bullying, examining how students intervene on behalf of others and the contexts in which these actions occur. His work aims to contribute to understanding the social dynamics that can promote empathy and resilience in school environments.
